Catching up

I haven't been knitting at all for the entire month of August. I've been spending a lot of time doing outdoor things like biking, going to the beach and just enjoy being outside while it's still warm. But I do have a photo of Icarus. This is the middle of chart 2. It's finally up to the part with the designs. It's only the beginning so it's hard to see. I have another 47 rows to knit before it's done.

I went shopping today and bought another project! This is "Aelf" from the latest Rowan magazine #40. I really like the color the designer used (lavender ice) but I'm already using that color on another Rowan sweater, so I chose the color "royal", a deep purple. I really like this design, I can't wait to start it.
