Knitting Olympics - Day 6's Progress

This is where I left off on Thursday, not a lot of progress on the front. I'm not knitting this as fast as I expected. I was distracted during my fun weekend shopping and ice skating. I stopped by Barnes and Noble and bought these two books. Knitting Vintage Socks by Nancy Bush and Simple Knits for Cherished Babies by Erika Knight.

I'm thinking of knitting more for baby Danielle, the Debbie Bliss jacket I made for her was so much fun. Maybe this cute dress?

The bear pattern is what made me buy the book, it's so cute and simple to make. So many pretty designs and so little time. And I want to make socks, too. I just love the sock patterns by Nancy Bush. I need to make a pair already. After the Olympics, definitely socks and these socks.

I made that bear when my niece was born in 2000 it's absolutely adorable, you'll need to make two so you can keep one.

Your Salina is looking so gorgeous it makes me wanna cry. Mine was waiting to be sewn together...and then I decided to frog the sleeves because I did them wrong after I frogged the first time around thinking I't made a mistake..Gah!
I think they were right the first time around. This is soo frustrating.

Are you doing your decreases right at the edge?

I should probably frog the armholes too...but I won't.

Hi Carin,
Thanks! I will check out purl. Then again, I probably shouldn't. Who knows what I will end up getting!!!

I have been all over Manhattan and will usually have dinner at Chinatown. I usually go to Nyonya on Motts Street. I love Belacan Kangkong and will go there for that! If you are free and interested, want to meet up?
